16:36 May the Lord God of Israel be praised,

in the future and forevermore. ¹ 

Then all the people said, “We agree! ²  Praise the Lord!”

1 Tawarikh 17:20

17:20 O Lord, there is none like you; there is no God besides you! What we heard is true! ³

[17:20]  ³ tn The Hebrew text reads literally, “in all which we heard with our ears,” but בְּכֹל (bÿkhol, “in all”) should probably be emended to כְּכֹל (kÿkhol, “according to all”).
